Karifeather

Bjorken was a rooster, born and raised on the outskirts of a city in the Philippines. He was a very large and handsome rooster, but of course his owners had purchased a hen, so were understandably disappointed. It didn't help that he wasn't the brightest hen in the henhouse - he would crow when the sun came out from behind a cloud, or whenever he stepped on a rock and thought he'd laid an egg. (It should be noted that you could shut him up easily enough by putting a coconut on his head). Nonetheless, his owners were fed up with this behaviour and sheer stupidity, but were not so heartless as to throw him in a stew. They released Bjorken into the jungle at the cities edge.

Shortly afterwards, Espe came across a very lost and very confused rooster wandering near her boundary. Perplexed by the fact that he was hovering over a pebble and crowing, she tried to surprise him but only got a bemused "bork" and a peck for her troubles. Further experimentation proved that a leaf landing on his head could paralyse him, but a pile of rocks would send him into a possessive frenzy. She was also finally able to startle him with suspiciously moving sticks. Concluding that he really was that dumb and annoying, Espe realised she had a perfect candidate. By laying out a trail of shiny rocks she was able to lure him closer to her boundary, where she could then transform him - the transformation was sudden and dramatic, feathers flying everywhere as Bjorken grew to the size of a small palm tree. 

Espe's plans were perfectly realised. Bjorken circles his stretch of jungle near the city, startling hikers and passers-by with strange phenomena. He is easily led by shiny things, and Espe exploits this to inflict him on unsuspecting esk in their boundaries. Both friends and foes are surprised when a giant, confused chicken is dumped in their space - Bjorken of course has no clue how to get home, which has resulted in him sticking his head into some pretty interesting scrapes. If you're ever wandering, and you hear faint, perplexing "borks" somewhere in the distance: be warned.
